At the Maison des Alternatives from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. On the occasion of the Fête du Sol Vivant, for our next garden workshop, come and learn about composting, learn good practices and how to make your own composter! On the program for the day: 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. – Reminder on the gestures of composting: What are the right gestures? When to turn it and why? How to use it? After how much time? Then shared meal on site with those who wish (bring your picnic). 1:30 p.m.-5 p.m. – Workshop make your composter! Don’t hesitate to bring your screwdriver-drill, jigsaw, crowbar, carpenter’s hammer, pliers, meter, sabre saw, depending on the tools you have… A lucky participant will be able to leave with a compost bin made of reclaimed wood!
