Sunday October 13: ERVY LE CHATEL – Piano concert with Eliane Reyes. In the St Pierre church at 3 p.m. We will welcome the talented Eliane Reyes. She will perform the complete waltzes of Frédéric Chopin on the piano. Eliane Reyes is delighted to return to Ervy where she performed on April 29, 2023 in a duet with her husband Aleksandr KHRAMOUCHIN who died suddenly after this concert. A tribute will be paid to her on October 13 and promises to be a moment of great emotion. Biography of Eliane Reyes: Invited to stages all over the world, Eliane Reyes seduces with her musical personality. First trained by her mother, she gave her first recital at the age of 5 and received the César Franck Prize the same year. She studied at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, then at the “Chapelle musicale Reine Elisabeth” with Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, at the Hochschule der Hünste in Berlin, at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, at the Lemmens Institut in Leuven with Alan Weiss as well as at the CNSM in Paris under the aegis of Michel Béroff, Brigitte Engerer and Jacques Rouvier in 3rd cycle. Eliane Reyes was nominated three times for the “International Classical Music Awards” and she obtained the “Octaves” of music in Belgium for her entire career. In 2017, Eliane Reyes had the privilege of playing with the Koch Trio in front of the Japanese imperial family, during the state visit of HRH the Grand Duke of Luxembourg at the Akasaka Palace, after having previously performed in front of Simone Veil at the European Parliament in Luxembourg. During the 2018/2019 season, she performed in recital at La Roque d’Anthéron as well as at La Folle Journée in Nantes, then at Salle Gaveau in Chopin’s second concerto under the direction of Debora Waldman. She was also noted in Mozart’s “Jeunhomme” concerto, under the baton of Roberto Benzi, and in Malcom Arnold’s concerto for four hands with Frank Braley and the Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonia. Today she teaches at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels as well as at the National Superior of Music in Paris. Come and share this great musical moment.
