Concert Duo Felipe Quemano

Friday 14 and Saturday 15 April: VAREILLES (89) – Concert Duo Felipe Quemano from 9 p.m. at the Maquis de Vareilles. The Duo Felipe Quemao mainly reinterprets musical themes taken from the traditional Salsa repertoire. Sounds, Salsas Duras, Boleros, Chachachás then Latin jazz instrumentals as well as some French variety standards arranged “Cuban”. This atypical formula, pianist/singer and percussionist/singer, embodies the Latino spirit. All the titles have been rearranged by the Duo – respecting the original versions of the great orchestras – in order to offer intimate concerts and festive dance evenings. Piano/ Vocals: Philippe Brulé bar pianist with solid international experience. Percussion / Vocals: Yoann Lelièvre, specialist in Afro Cuban percussion and Brazilian music, trained in Havana, Cuba.
