From May 4th to 15th: AIX-VILLEMAUR-PALIS – Exhibition “Famous Auboise” in the multipurpose room of the Town Hall of Aix-en-Othe. Discover the life of famous Aube women, from the Middle Ages to the present day. We often think that the men and women who have played an important role in our societies live in lands far from us, while so many are close. As far as women are concerned, if Marie Curie, Sister Teresa, Agatha Christie, are essential in their field to name but a few, Aube is not lacking in women who have played a role, less known, even misunderstood, but important. Also, to remedy these omissions, the ARPA (Animations and research in the Aix region), is organizing an exhibition “Famous Auboises”, which will make known and do justice to these women born, or having lived, in Aube, and who have played an important social, political, sporting and artistic role. From May 4 to 15, multipurpose hall of Aix-en-Othe town hall (inner courtyard), every afternoon from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Wednesdays, also open from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Free admission. Organized by ARPA. Contact: aixarpa10160@orange.fr – +33 (0)9 65 14 10 02
