Contact: +33 (0)3 25 40 97 22 – ot@tourisme-othe-armance.com Biography: “Born in 1964, registered with “la maison des artistes” since 1991, I set up my workshop in Bérulle in 2009 In 2009, I started a long-term project which is to paint portraits of my neighbors until they represent all those who live in Bérulle. I am currently interested in the landscapes of the Pays d’Othe which surround me. Whether through fields, woods and paths, this proximity to nature is a joy. I started with still life with a series devoted to fruits. The irregularity and variety of cider apples from the surrounding orchards m ‘were inspired. Then I became interested in the calm beauty of the hilly landscapes of the Pays d’Othe. Painting outdoors is a wonderful way to convey the calm and escape that such an environment evokes. This work dates mainly from 2023. It is a pictorial walk, a look at my intimate relationship with nature, nature that I am lucky to have on my doorstep. I paint with acrylics on stretched canvas frames or on wooden panels. I have been using this acrylic technique for over 30 years. After studying graphics in Paris, I stayed for a long time in the Paris region where from 1989, I worked for events, for theater and shop decors, … decoration is also my profession .”
