At the same time passed Gerry Mulligan at the Olympia. When I was 20, I arrived in Troyes and, 9 years later, I discovered painting thanks to friends who owned a plastic arts supply store. I meet many painters in Aube such as Philippe Desmonts, Patrick Léon, Patrice Marchand and Guy Péqueux, first of all work colleagues but since then, only friends. My work: From 1989 to the year 2000, I worked in coarse pastel, most often with a rag. Since then, I have been working with acrylics or paint samples intended for the automobile or industry. This painting, I associate it with collages, fragments of posters, photos or objects. Amplified listening to French underground music from the 75s to the 90s, better known as “garage rock” helps me enormously. My work does not exceed 3 or 4 hours to complete an ordinary painting.
