From May 7th to August 7th: PALIS – “Simple life” exhibition by Yamamoto Masao, at the Domaine du Tournefou. Opening hours: Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. All public. Free entrance. Yamamoto Masao was born in 1957 in Gamagori, Japan. He turned to photography after studying plastic arts. He began to show his work in Japan in the early 1990s, but it was in the United States, where he exhibited from 1994, that he met with international success which has continued to expand. In 2006, the Camera Obscura gallery presents for the first time a personal exhibition of Yamamoto in Europe. Since 1998, he has published a dozen books, singular creations that punctuate his work and constitute as many manifestos of his work. The opening of the exhibition will be accompanied by a recital by Juliana Steinbach, Brazilian pianist, who has distinguished herself in national and international competitions. His varied repertoire allows him to perform all over the world both in chamber music and in recital. She will perform works around French music, particularly Claude Debussy.
