FOG (Folk Opens Gates)

Monday, April 6: VAREILLES (89) – FOG (Folk Opens Gates). At 5:30 pm at the Maquis de Vareilles. One winter evening by the fireside, Fabienne gets out her bass, Olivier plugs in his electric guitar, and Géhel, his acoustic guitar. We tinker with the drum machine and we sing! Songs everyone loves (Sting, Bryan Adams, Ed Sheeran), compositions we wish everyone would love (Eliot Sumner, Asgeir, Kings of Convenience), and tracks we rework in our own style (The Cure, Depeche Mode, Francis Cabrel). We laugh, we share, and sometimes we add a tear… of milk to our tea. Cool, cozy, and yet so eccentric, so British. That’s FOG.
