Sunday, August 17: VAREILLES – Presentation of the decor by Frédéric Poirey. At 6 p.m. at the Maquis de Vareilles. “As the Maquis opens less, it closes more” would have said Mr. de la Palice if he were still alive and living in the Pays d’Othe. So to make it less sad, we had a decor painted on the closed shutters of the Maquis by the painter Frédéric Poirey. But it’s absurd because the customers, thanks to whom the Maquis can exist and finance this work, come when the shutters are open and do not see this magnificent work. To make up for it, we invite you on Sunday, August 17 at 6 p.m. to the presentation of this beautiful decor in the presence of the artist who will present other works for the occasion and will answer your questions and requests for possible projects. Frédéric Poirey is a painter specializing in panoramic and trompe-l’oeil paintings. He lives in Bérulle, Pays d’Othe, Aube. Of course, we’ll take the opportunity to offer you a drink.
