Saturday, September 14: NEUVILLE SUR VANNE: Outing to LANGRES: “In the footsteps of Jeanne Mance”. Departure by coach at 7:30 a.m. from Neuville-sur-Vanne and return by coach around 7:30 p.m. Program for the day: 7:30 a.m. – Departure from Neuville-sur-Vanne. 9:30 a.m. – Arrival in Langres. From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Guided tour by our friends from the Jeanne Mance Committee. 12 – Packed lunch. Free afternoon: explore the city: the House of Lights (Diderot), St Mammès Cathedral, the Museum of Art and History… And why not the Notre Dame de Brévoines church, located in the suburbs of Langres, about 2 km from the city. The church contains a very interesting architectural and historical heritage! 5:30 p.m. – Departure from Langres. 7:30 p.m. – Return to Neuville-sur-Vanne. Organized by the Paul de Chomedey Committee of Maisonneuve (Since 1967 in Neuville-sur-Vanne) with the support of the Commune of Neuville-sur-Vanne, the Commune of Estissac, the Community of Communes of Pays d’Othe and the Department of Aube en Champagne.
