Route No. 8 – 12 km – 260 m elevation gain – 1 hour 30 minutes – easy. Starting from the Saint Joseph Chapel and its magnificent viewpoint, set off to explore the Othe Forest, clinging to its limestone hillsides. Along the way, you’ll cross the cereal plain with its gentle curves. After a long climb through the undergrowth, your efforts will be rewarded with the sight of the forest’s majestic tree, the Pied Cornier, an oak over 500 years old with a trunk nearly 6 meters high and 1.85 meters in diameter. On the return journey, you’ll enjoy the village of Vosnon with its all-wooden chapel and numerous apple orchards. The mountain bike center is open year-round except during the general hunting season, from mid-September to early March (a period defined annually by prefectural decree, available at the town hall).
