Fête du jumelage

From Saturday, May 2nd to Sunday, May 3rd: AIX-EN-OTHE – Twinning Festival. Celebrating 30 years of twinning with Neresheim (Germany) and 14 years of twinning with Bagnacavallo (Italy). The Pays d’Othe Twinning Committee is organizing a series of official ceremonies to celebrate two major anniversaries of European cooperation in our region. Program of ceremonies: Saturday, May 2nd: 10:30 am – Aix-Villemaur-Pâlis Town Hall. Official ceremony for the renewal of twinning agreements in the presence of the German and Italian delegations. Inauguration of the Twinning Marker in the garden of the Maison du Pays d’Othe – France Services, 2 rue du Maréchal Foch in Aix-en-Othe, followed by a reception at the Town Hall. 8 p.m. – Dinner and concert with live brass band music by the German group Musikverein Nattheim at the Villemaur-sur-Vanne village hall. Sunday, May 3: 11 a.m. – A serenade will bring together the Arman’Sonne and Musikverein Nattheim brass bands in the town hall square between the market hall and the church in Aix-en-Othe.
