La Maison Du Vitrail d’Armance

A place to discover the art of stained glass, housed in the former prison of Ervy-le-Châtel, built in 1833. Exhibition spaces and fun, educational workshops allow visitors to understand all the stages of stained glass creation. Films about the craft of master glassmakers and the churches of the Pays d’Armance region are also shown. The Maison du Vitrail d’Armance offers a digital tablet tour of Ervy-le-Châtel’s iconic sites. Three versions are available: for adults, children, and in English. Tablets can be rented freely during the Maison du Vitrail’s opening hours. Opening hours: May to September: 9:30 am – 12:00 pm / 1:30 pm – 6:30 pm; October to April: 9:30 am – 12:00 pm / 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
