Friday 7 and Saturday 8 July: AIX EN OTHE – Othe Armance Festival. Experience two unforgettable days devoted to the best of current music. A festive and joyful event to share with family or friends! Bringing together more than 10,000 festival-goers from all over France, the Othe-Armance Festival is a major cultural event in the departments of Aube and Yonne. The launch of the 33rd edition takes place in the magnificent Parc des Fontaines. In addition to the ten concerts, the weekend is accompanied by an open stage, fire juggling, a village of associations (with many artisans and local initiatives), food stands, a 100% local refreshment bar crafts and a completely free campsite (campers and travel vehicles) that will allow you to make the most of your weekend. Driven by the charisma and warm voice of Cam, the 5 musicians give life to a solar and powerful music that transports us to the world of reggae, rock, French chanson or even pop. In December 2021, a Deluxe version of their latest album Esperanza was released, on which we can discover surprising featurings with HK, Naâman and Jahneration. – TAGADA JONES (Punk Rock): Already more than 20 years that Tagada Jones travels the national and international scenes with his Punk-Hardcore. The group crossed 25 countries, produced 9 studio albums and burned the boards more than 1800 times! Undoubtedly one of the only French Punk combos to export so much by singing in their native language. Tagada is also a social conscience, a political commitment and above all a reference in terms of independence. Worthy heirs of the French alternative scene, they are recognized by their predecessors (Bérurier Noir, Parabellum, Sheriff…) as being the embodiment of the French “Do it yourself”! In addition to being a great reference on stage, the people of Rennes promise us a memorable pyrotechnic show! – ANGE (progressive rock): 6 million albums sold, 6 gold records, half a century of passion for the oldest active French group. Inexhaustible pioneers on the playground of progressive rock, this living legend seduces, provokes, astonishes a loyal audience with his generosity and his atypical lyricism. Ange invents what many do not dare by embodying audacity, the infectious joy in exploring the unknown. A guarantee of eternity… Vibrate for the last time with the formation of Christan Décamps who will give one of his last concerts there after more than 53 years of career. – BILLX (PsyTrance Hardtek): Prolific and distinguished producer of the European Rave scene, Billx quickly established himself as one of the pioneers of “Hardtek” music in France. Producing hits upon hits on the most emblematic labels in the industry, even if his numerous collaborations with Dr. Peacock propels him to the front of the great Hardcore Frenchcore scene with participation in the Masters of Hardcore, Dominator and Defqon1… It’s on the scene of the biggest clubs / festivals in France such as Garorock Festival, the Eurockéennes or Elektric Park that Billx introduces his unique style to his audience. His recent productions successfully mix psytrance and rave music, there are great collaborations with Otyken, Eolya and Black Muffin in particular… An artist not to be missed! – BOOM TCHAK TOUR (Sensations-tions-tions-tions): Born of an unacknowledged relationship between Boris and Annie Cordy, the 5 brothers of Boom Tchak started out in the cheese and charcuterie departments of Mammouth de Vesoul. Very quickly spotted, they follow tuning meetings, carnivals and popular balls in which they perfect their techniques. This project is the very quintessence of their dazzling career, and therefore promises a maximum of sensations-tions-tions-tions… SATURDAY PROGRAM: – OLDELAF (Song-humour): Oldelaf is an essential figure in the song that we do more…but since we are here for that, we will do it anyway! Revered by the public and adored by critics, Oldelaf is a more effervescent showman than a betaine citrate tablet! A composer as gifted and prolific as Johann Sebastian Bach but more shaken! He is a “famous Rock singer” overflowing with self-mockery who knew how to develop a real vocal, scenic and textual mark: the “Oldelaf” style has become a beautiful reference in song! – SIDI WACHO (Cumbia-hip-hop-balkan): They are from Roubaix, Valparaiso in Chile and Paname City, but they claim loud and clear that they are everywhere at home. And it is in a very festive “cumbia-hip-hop-balkan” atmosphere that the Sidi Wacho caravan, made up of two MC’s, a trumpeter, an accordionist and a percussionist, settles down loudly to reminding us at all times that “El pueblo unido jamas sera vencido” (The united people will never be defeated!). – TIKEN JAH FAKOLY (Reggae): Tiken Jah Fakoly is a major figure on the African continent and reggae, crowned with several gold records, numerous Prizes (RFI, SACEM) and a Victoire de la Musique. The artist is recognized worldwide as a committed and militant artist! Gathering tens or even hundreds of thousands of spectators during his concerts in Africa, he is famous for his explosive stage performances and has played in all the major festivals in France, Europe and Canada… Exiled in Mali for many years following threats in Côte d’Ivoire, he returned to record his new album (the 12th) in Abidjan “Braquage de capacity”, there are features in complicity with Grand Corps Malade Officiel, Dub inc, Amadou & Mariam, Winston McAnuff… – ZENTONE: ZENZILE & HIGH TONE (Dub): Zentone a project with a meeting at the top of the emblematic High Tone and Zenzile to start the announcement of the 2023 program! The artists have just released the brand new Zentone Chapter II, a collective work finalized in solo, in the creative lair of each of the entities, always higher, always stronger! Everything is recorded.
