From Thursday, April 30th to Sunday, June 7th: VAREILLES (89) – Vegetable Garden Arts Fair. At the Maquis de Vareilles. Since 2006, every spring, the Maquis de Vareilles offers a small, participatory, and whimsical collective exhibition about the garden in all its forms, with a general theme. This year’s theme is “The carrots are cooked, the end of the beans, to be in a pickle…”. Most expressions related to vegetable gardens and vegetables are often negative but humorous and very evocative, so we should be able to illustrate or stage them in a fun way, invent them, twist them, unearth rare, incongruous, exotic, regional ones, etc. If this topic inspires you, creations, personal collections, texts, songs, films, photos, paintings, collages, stamps, molds, stencils, engravings, drawings, installations, objects, decorations, montages, lectures, and anything else that can be exhibited or hung on the walls of Le Maquis or shared on the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/salondesartspotagers/ on this subject are welcome.
