Partially destroyed in 1433 during the Hundred Years’ War, it was rebuilt in the 16th century. The Church of Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens is a blend of Gothic, pre-Renaissance, and Renaissance styles. The statuary within its walls makes it a veritable museum of the 16th-century Champagne School. The church boasts ten stained-glass windows, three of which are listed as Historical Monuments: the Triumphs of Petrarch, the Martyrdom of Saint Christina of Bolsena, and the Sibyls. All three date from the 16th century. A magnificent organ, installed by the organ builder Mangin, dates from 1755. The church has been awarded one star in the Michelin Green Guide. Open daily, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (winter time) and from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (summer time). Ervy-le-Châtel Town Hall Opening Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9am-12pm and Tuesday, Thursday from 1:30pm to 5pm.
